Feng Shui bagua divides house into 8 sections. Each of the 8 sections has its own meanings and feng shui element it belongs to. 1. North Section: North section of the house is Traveling Area which represents our movement through life. It affects not only our career but also the position of our living. It belongs to water element. The colors to use in this area are deep blue and gray. You also can choose gold or silver color which represents metal element to produce water element.

2. South Section: South section of the house is Illumination Area which represents fame and reputation. It belongs to fire element. The colors to use in this area is red. You also can choose light green which represents Wood element to generate fire element.

3. East Section: East section of the house is Elder Area which is associated with sound. If you have the problems with the noise sound, such as noisy neighbors, calm down this area’s energy. It is also associated with the family. You will get bad relationship with your family if this area is missing. This area belongs to wood element. The main color for this area is green. You also can display tall shapes and plants in this area.

4. West Section: West section of the house is Creativity Area which represents pleasure, imagination and creativity. It belongs to metal element. Main colors in this area are gold, silver, white, and anything shiny that associated with Metal energy.

5. Northeast Section: Northeast section of the house is Wisdom Area which represents meditation and inner knowledge. This area belongs to earth element. Main colors in this area are browns or yellows. You also can put solid and heavy stuffs in this area.

6. Northwest Section: Northwest section of the house is Authority Area which is associated with strength, power, leadership and achievement. This area belongs to metal element. The colors used in this area is same as west section.

7. Southeast Section: Southeast section of the house is Wealth Area which represents growth, maturing. This area belongs to wood element. The colors used in this area is same as the East Section.

8. Southwest Section: Southwest section of the house is Relationships Area which represents openness, yielding and invitation. This area belongs to earth element. The colors used in this area are same as the Northeast section.

Chinese Red Lanterns

Chinese Red LanternHanging red lanterns is one of Chinese traditional cultures. It is very popular in China right now. Red lanterns represent harmony (round shape), booming in business like fire (red color). It also represents happiness, vitality, illustration and wealth. This is the reason that Chinese like to hang red lanterns in parties or festivals, such as Chinese New Year, lantern festivals, etc. Furthermore, Chinese red lanterns are also hanged in some important building or shops, etc as the symbols.

Chinese red lanterns usually have some beautiful pictures or Chinese auspicious words on the surface. All pictures such as fishes, dragons, peony flowers, etc or auspicious words printed on the surface stand for good luck or wealth.
